Sound Bwoy” is a rich, vibrant, bold, and psychedelic music video created for Kwame Heshimu, a reggae artist, along with his band Future Dub Consortium.

Creative Brief

This music video was conceptualized, produced, assembled, and edited to capture an energetic feel that aligns with the quick tempo of the music. Vibrant colors, humorous objects, and dancing creatures were incorporated to create a dynamic, sparkling, and engaging experience—resulting in a timeless piece designed to captivate audiences and invite endless rewatching without monotony.

Approach

Dancing elements were incorporated into the video to reflect the rich and colorful culture of reggae, featuring psychedelic and vibrant gorillas, skeletons, and other 3D elements that seamlessly complement the music.

Most scenes were created using found stock footage, 3D objects made with Blender, and various elements, resulting in a music video that is both visually engaging and addictive.

Impact

This motion graphics video montage was one of the most challenging projects to complete within a one-month time frame. The vision for the project was fully entrusted by the artists, and the opportunity to collaborate with them is deeply appreciated.

With its highly colorful and vivid aesthetics, the animation also serves as an ideal background for large projectors at music festivals, fashion shows, or other fun and creative projects.
