“Political Intimacy: The Return” is a project that aims to humanize local politics through collaboration and focuses on addressing key community issues via interviews and creative dialogue sessions.
This collaboration involved working with:
Create exhibition posters that seamlessly blend with the urban backdrop of New York City, highlighting the voices of collaborators committed to cultural and social justice causes. These include gender inclusivity, racial equality, environmental awareness, food security, immigration, cooperatives, and accessibility initiatives.
The event poster incorporates cityscapes, bold colors, and dynamic layouts to engage the public and celebrate the multicultural event, reflecting NYC’s diversity.
The collage poster for display integrates images chosen by collaborators, representing their cultural, social, and political concerns. This second poster also utilizes AR to enable the audience to interact with 3D elements in the physical space.
The posters have undeniably achieved their goal, captivating the audience’s attention through their large scale, dynamic layouts, intricate details, and AR integration. It has been a privilege to collaborate with such talented individuals on this project.
