“Nectarist” is an identity project for a brand focused on offering a wide range of products sourced from local bee communities. These include honey, hygiene products, cosmetics, and skincare, all designed to provide high quality while supporting local economies and promoting bee conservation efforts.

Creative Brief

A brand identity for “Nectarist,” focusing on bee-produced products, is visualized with an expanded product range beyond honey. Packaging and environmental designs are created to reflect the brand’s values of sustainability, nature, and craftsmanship.

Marketing strategies are developed to enhance brand visibility, with ad campaigns created to emphasize the ecological and community benefits of supporting bee-related products.

Conservation efforts are emphasized, and both physical and virtual spaces are designed to engage customers.

Social media platforms and storytelling are also utilized to build brand appeal and foster customer loyalty.

Approach

The project includes a diverse range of bee-produced products such as raw honey, candles, skincare items, teas, and beverages. Packaging is designed with visuals that reflect each product’s essence and attract customers, such as green tea jasmine flavor, featuring refreshing water drops, vibrant honey tones, and elegant jasmine imagery.

The brand integrates exhibition and environmental graphic design to promote its products while educating the public on the importance of preserving native bees. It highlights the impact of honeybee products on native and bumblebee populations, encouraging sustainable consumption.

Motion graphics and virtual reality, created with Adobe Creative Cloud, Blender, Unity, and other tools, serve both promotional and advertising purposes, while exploring limitless possibilities to craft a memorable and cohesive brand identity, expanding the brand’s reach both online and offline.

The website not only provides product information but also emphasizes local sourcing and explains why preserving native bees is crucial to ecosystems.

Impact

This project represents a sophisticated effort to define Nectarist’s design concept as a brand committed to bee conservation, environmentalism, and sustainability, while also exploring its marketing potential. It integrates a narrative environment, combining identity design, motion graphics, virtual reality, and advertising campaigns.

With just 4 weeks to research, create artwork, and animate the motion graphics, this project is quite ambitious. It’s a challenge to create a design that is both cohesive and interesting, while also focusing on sustainability. The goal is to expand the raw materials into something more, all while staying true to the brand’s sustainable values.
