I tend to design four distinct typefaces, each resonating with one of the four seasons. For their names, I employ Romance languages such as Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, and French. Among the first typefaces I created is called “Il Sublime Inverno di Tirakas,” translating to “Tirakas’s Sublime Winter” in Italian. While the typeface is exclusively designed in lowercase, the final presentation of this font showcases grids to visually demonstrate how the font follows the principles and anatomy of type. The grids highlight aspects like x-height, letter-spacing, baseline, serif, stroke, ascender, and descender, providing a clear representation of the meticulous design considerations incorporated into the font.
